Under the theme “Practice Builds Safety Defenses, Safety Walks With Us”, Dongguan Jiadatai Textiles Co., Ltd. recently organized a complete on-site fire safety emergency drill at its factory campus, covering staff evacuation training, fire equipment operation demonstrations and live fire suppression practice. This activity aimed to standardize emergency response procedures, improve all employees’ self-rescue and fire-fighting capabilities, and eliminate potential fire hazards in textile production workshops.
As a textile manufacturer that handles large quantities of flammable fabric raw materials and finished goods, fire risk control is a top priority for Jiadatai Textiles. The company’s management team designed a full-process drill combining theoretical guidance and hands-on operation to ensure every team member can respond calmly in case of real fire incidents.
Step 1: Organized Emergency Stairwell Evacuation
Once the simulated fire alarm signal was issued, all participating employees followed standard smoke evacuation rules. Covering their noses and mouths with wet tissue to avoid inhaling toxic smoke, staff bent low and quickly evacuated along designated safe stairwell routes. The whole evacuation process was orderly, without crowding or disorder, proving that daily safety training had helped workers master basic escape skills.
Step 2: Professional Fire Equipment Operation Training
After all personnel assembled at the open-air safe gathering zone, the company’s safety supervisor delivered a detailed demonstration of standard dry powder fire extinguisher usage. The supervisor explained the full 4-step operation method — Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep — while showing how to inspect fire extinguishers for valid pressure and intact seals.
