Faybric takes you to TACTEL® NYLON
Faybric introduces you to TACTEL® NYLON - a top-grade fine needle nylon fiber.
Anyone who has ever touched Faybric fabrics will be amazed by the smoothness of the fabrics, and how it can make a difference right away. In this article, we'll show you the power of the nylon fiber we use!
What is TACTEL® NYLON?
TACTEL® fiber is the United States of America DuPont (DuPont) for its invention of nylon (Nylon) 66 fiber registered trade name, so nylon 66 is TACTEL® fiber, now and Lycra ® LYCRA owner is the same company United States Invista (Invista).
TACTEL® fiber is a special and its own elasticity and heterogeneous cross-section shape of high-grade nylon microfiber, TACTEL® fiber can be used alone, but also with other synthetic fibers, natural fibers or man-made fibers with a more varied effect. TACTEL® fiber and cotton, polyester interweaving and blending, dyeing and finishing processed into apparel fabrics, has a better comfort and breathability and tear strength, bright, bright color, and the fabrics are made from TACTEL® fiber, and the fabrics are made from TACTEL® fiber. It has better comfort, air permeability and tear strength, bright color and soft handfeel. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and its good moisture absorption can balance the humidity difference between the air and the body, often used in sportswear and intimate apparel.TACTEL fiber is a guarantee of excellent quality, but also a symbol of the differentiation of the composition of the goods, which makes the consumers have more confidence in the quality of the final product.
TACTEL® NYLON v.s. General Nylon Fiber
There are many different types of nylon, and most of the nylon 6 and nylon 66 (TACTEL® fiber) used in sportswear on the market today are the main components, although they are very similar and have a lot of similarities. Although they are very similar and have a lot in common, the structural composition is not the same, Nylon 6, also known as PA6, polyamide 6, melting point 220 degrees Celsius, density 1.12g/cm3, Nylon 66, also known as TACTEL ®, PA66, polyamide 66, melting point 264 degrees Celsius, density 1.15g/cm3. The performance of the two also have their own characteristics. In terms of price, TACTEL® fiber is much more expensive than Nylon 6, often used to make ultra-fine fibers, made into high-end apparel, higher-end brands on the market also choose TACTEL® fiber made to achieve the soft texture of fine products.
Heat Resistance
Generally, the heat resistance of Nylon 6 is not good, the heat resistance of TACTEL® fiber is higher than that of Nylon 6 by about 50 degrees Celsius, and if you have the conditions, you can directly iron the sample with an iron that reaches 230 degrees Celsius, which cannot be withstood by the Nylon 6 material. TACTEL® fiber has better heat resistance, which is conducive to the thermal formation of the layer post-processing, giving the fabric a wider space for heat treatment and the ability to resist low-temperature climate.
Touch
The surface of Nylon 6 is also rougher than that of TACTEL® fiber. Both Nylon 6 and TACTEL® fiber are considered to be strong and durable fibers. However, when comparing the two, TACTEL® fiber is stronger, more malleable and more durable than normal fibers. The crystalline structure of Nylon 6 is looser and therefore less resilient, while TACTEL® fiber is more resistant to collapse and resilient, so that the fleece will not collapse and affect the image of the product over a long period of time.
Weight
TACTEL® fiber is lightweight, more than 15% lighter than Nylon 6, and its specific gravity of 1.14 is lower than that of polyester fiber 1.38, which is the best choice for high-grade lightweight fabrics after fiber refinement.
Color Fastness
In engineering materials, TACTEL® fiber has the advantage of color fastness and high melting point, TACTEL® fiber has poor dyeing (which means good stain resistance), but high color fastness and will not fade; compared to Nylon 6, although it is easy to dye, but it is also easy to fade, TACTEL® fiber has a good degree of polymerization and the above mentioned excellent crystalline morphology of yarns makes its yarns have excellent resistance to chemical properties. TACTEL® fiber has good polymerization and the above excellent yarn crystalline morphology makes its yarns have excellent chemical resistance and inherently higher ionic bonding energy, which makes TACTEL® fiber fabrics have higher dyeing and washing fastness than Nylon 6 and polyester fabrics, as well as lower shrinkage and good recoverability and dimensional stability.
Advantages of TACTEL® fiber.
Soft and breathable
TACTEL® fiber has the characteristics of soft touch, good breathability, skin-friendly and comfortable. The surface is smooth without any roughness, and it has good moisture wicking ability, which is a commonly used material for sportswear.
High elasticity
Clothing fabric made of TACTEL® fiber is light and elastic, and due to its excellent elasticity, it can be stretched back to its original state. Whether it's for strenuous exercise or high stretch yoga, TACTEL® fabrics are often used in clothing that won't break easily during pulling and tugging. It can be used to fit in with the body's movements.
Easy to Wash
TACTEL® fiber is easy to wash and maintain, can be hand-washed or machine-washed, drying time is three times faster than cotton. Color fading is not easy on nylon fabrics. It is suitable for normal neutral detergents. Avoid using fabric softener together with it. It is not suitable for hot water washing, and can be dried in a ventilated area after washing.
Anti-wrinkle effect
TACTEL® fiber has a strong anti-wrinkle effect, under normal use and maintenance cleaning, it is unlikely to produce wrinkles, after washing the clothes before drying a few times to let the clothes flat, it can reduce the wrinkles after drying, but if there is a need to iron it, just iron it at a low temperature across a layer of fabrics.
High color fastness
TACTEL® fibers are more uniformly colored, with an even and stable strip, and have a higher color fastness than other nylons.TACTEL® is available in straight or deformed filaments, bicomponent or twisted, and in glossy, semi-matte, or full-matte (the only ones in the world).
Fabrics and garments with the TACTEL® logo emphasize breathability, softness, natural fit and freedom of movement. They are comfortable in warm, humid and cold, dry climates and are suitable for all occasions. Convenient to clean and wash, not easy to wrinkle and fold, dry quickly in the shade of the ventilation, highly ductile to match the different rhythms of the body tugging and pulling without changing shape.
Faybric classic series: TACTEL® NYLON fabric series, each made of TACTEL® NYLON, excellent quality assurance, can provide general elastic fabrics can not do, to meet the meaning of extraordinary you.
